Operation Launchpad Foundation Announces Mission to Empower 1,000 Entrepreneurs, Veterans and Young Leaders

California nonprofit expands access to business education, no-cost mentorship and entrepreneurship development while preparing community workshops and veteran-focused programs.

Newport Beach, CA, Oct. 9, 2026 — Operation Launchpad Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is advancing a mission to help aspiring entrepreneurs, U.S. military veterans and young adults overcome barriers to business ownership through practical education, mentorship, coaching and community support. Founded by U.S. Navy veteran and entrepreneur Juan C. Olmedo, the organization has established a five-year goal of empowering 1,000 individuals through entrepreneurship and professional development programs serving communities locally and across the United States.

With more than two decades of entrepreneurial experience, Olmedo established Operation Launchpad to address a challenge affecting many aspiring and first-time business owners: limited access to experienced guidance in the fundamental skills required to build sustainable businesses.

Operation Launchpad seeks to close this knowledge gap by making business education, mentorship and qualifying no-cost consulting opportunities available to individuals who may otherwise be unable to afford professional advisory services.
