NEVTIS + OrionOne Announces Upcoming Public Launch of Sapien360 After Five Years of Research and Development
Developed by OrionOne Group LLC with funding, technical resources and distributed engineering support from Nevtis Corp, Sapien360 aims to make professional small-business accounting easier to understand and operate
Newport Beach, CA July 24, 2026

OrionOne Group LLC today announced the upcoming public launch of Sapien:Books, the first foundation application within the broader Sapien360 Software ecosystem.
Sapien:Books is a fully cloud-based accounting and bookkeeping platform created for startups, solopreneurs, contractors, professional-service firms and growing small businesses. The platform is designed to provide professional double-entry accounting capabilities through an interface that explains financial workflows in clear, approachable language.
Following approximately three years of market research, product planning and business-model development, the Sapien360 initiative moved into active software development two years ago. The five-year effort was led by OrionOne Group LLC with financial backing, product resources, technology infrastructure and distributed software-development support provided by Nevtis Corp.
“Small-business accounting should be accurate and powerful without forcing owners to become accounting-software experts,” said Juan Olmedo, CEO of Nevtis Corp and leader of the Sapien360 initiative. “We built Sapien:Books to put real accounting discipline underneath a clear, guided experience. Better books give owners better information, and better information helps them build a better business.”
Professional accounting without unnecessary complexity
The platform brings essential day-to-day financial workflows into one connected environment, including:
Customers and jobs
Estimates and contracts
Invoices and payments received
Vendors and bills
Vendor payments
Products, services and inventory
1099 vendor tracking
Chart of accounts
General ledger and journal entries
Banking and reconciliation
Job and project tracking
Profit-and-loss reporting
Balance-sheet reporting
Roles, permissions and audit controls
“The goal was never to remove the accounting standards that professionals rely on,” Olmedo said. “The goal was to remove unnecessary confusion. Business owners should be able to manage daily transactions confidently, while their accountants and bookkeepers receive organized, reliable financial records.”
Built as a self-service SaaS platform
Sapien:Books is intended particularly for businesses that are establishing their accounting systems for the first time or want a clearer foundation for managing their financial records. Initial target users include contractors, skilled trades, agencies, consultants, accounting practices, printing companies, professional-service firms and other owner-operated businesses.
The foundation of the Sapien360 ecosystem
Sapien:Books is the first application within Sapien360, a planned modular ecosystem for modern business operators.
The Sapien360 vision is to connect financial and operational tools through a shared platform and secure application interfaces. Planned applications and marketplace categories include project management, customer relationship management, communications, scheduling, digital marketing, reputation management, digital business cards, education and business resources.
“Small-business owners are often forced to assemble their companies from disconnected software subscriptions,” Olmedo said. “Sapien360 is being built around a different vision: a connected ecosystem in which each application solves a real problem, shares information responsibly and helps the operator understand the complete business.”
Five years from research to launch
The Sapien360 initiative began with research into the operational and financial challenges faced by startups and small businesses. During its first three years, the team examined accounting workflows, business-owner behavior, product architecture, integration requirements and opportunities to simplify software without sacrificing professional controls.
During the following two years, OrionOne Group and Nevtis allocated engineering talent, financial resources, infrastructure and product-development support to build Sapien360 and its first application, Sapien:Books.
Sapien:Books is scheduled to open its public 30-day trial on August 1, 2026.
Businesses, accountants, bookkeepers and potential strategic partners can request launch information through the Sapien360 website or contact the company directly.
